" Géothermie - accompagnement des
processus de micro-forage d'exploration de la ressource géothermale
à l'île de la Réunion "
Lancé par le Conseil Régional
en 2000, le projet en est aujourd'hui au stade d'exploration du potentiel
géothermique de l'île. Les diverses études réalisées
ont permis de sélectionner la zone potentiellement la plus favorable
pour une exploitation
géothermique haute enthalpie (située à l'ouest
du piton de la Fournaise). Cependant, ces résultats ont été
obtenus avec des méthodes indirectes (géologie, hydrogéologie…)
qui, si elles permettent de définir la zone la plus favorable,
ne permettent pas de prouver l'existence de cette ressource. La réalisation
d'un forage de reconnaissance de faible diamètre (de type slim
hole) va permettre d'évaluer réellement le potentiel du
gisement.
Cette étude de recherche et développement
consiste en un accompagnement opérationnel de cette phase de
micro forage, particulièrement délicat du fait de sa localisation
dans un site à haute sensibilité environnementale. Ces
contraintes devront être intégrées pour la mise
en place des différents acteurs, l'élaboration de cahiers
des charges pour le projet (cahier des charges pour les différents
acteurs du projet, cahier des charges techniques pour le forage), le
lancement juridique et financier ainsi que la définition et préparation
de la campagne d'exploitation du forage par l'équipe scientifique.
Il s'agira donc d'accompagner la Région, maître d'ouvrage
du projet, à la gestion et au pilotage de ces différentes
actions.

"Geothermal energy - support of exploration
drilling processes of the geothermal resource in the island of la Reunion"
Launched by the Regional Council in 2000, the project
reaches today the stage of exploration of the geothermal potential of
the island. The various studies carried out made it possible to select
the area potentially most favourable for a geothermal exploitation high
enthalpy (located at the west of the piton of the Fournaise). However,
these results were obtained with indirect methods (geology, hydrogeology...)
which, if it makes it possible to define the most favourable area, do
not make it possible to prove the existence of this resource. The realization
of a recognition drilling of low diameter (slim hole type) will make
it possible to evaluate the real potential of the layer.
This study of research and development consists
of an operational support in this phase of drilling, particularly complex
because of its location in a high environmental sensitivity setting.
These constraints should be integrated into the setting up of the different
actors, the establishment of specifications for the project (specifications
for the different actors, technical specification for the drilling),
the legal and financial launching and the definition and preparation
of the exploitation campaign of the drilling by the scientist team.
Thus, it will be a question of accompanying the Regional Council, client
of the project, with the management and the piloting of these various
actions.
